I am so excited to be back to crating! Today was a rough one at home. It was a snow day and for whatever reasons my littles were in rare form when it came to not being able to get along. (I'll be honest and say that had I had a quiet place to hide from them for 10 minutes I would have today.) I love my kids and normally refereeing isn't normally so bad, but today that was all I felt I did ALL. DAY. LONG. So that being said, back to being excited!
For Christmas, I got a new sewing machine, but sadly I had crafted myself out sewing for the holiday so I have kind of been in a crafting hiatus. Well, a good friend asked me to make a poncho for her littlest little to wear in the car seat. It'll keep him snug and warm, but will also help keep him safe and secure as his seat will still be able to be strapped on properly. I have dug out all of my needed supplies, gotten my sewing area (sadly this is part of our main living space since our house is the size of a pea) into working order, and I can't wait to fire up my machine. I'll be cutting the material and getting to the crafting these next few days and I can already feel myself begin to relax and find a peace that i have been missing since sewing the last of the doll diaper bag accessories I made before Christmas. Thank you, Laura, for helping me to get a project so that the new machine can work its magic and I can find some Zen once again.
